We are saddened by the passing of MCT founding sponsors Bob Kiley and Lynne Kiley in the past three years. Bob was a major force behind the growth of the MCT tournament and served as our first President from 1999 to 2012. In his honor, each year we award the Bob Kiley Cup to our tournament champions.
Our 2025 Ace Peninsula Hardware Men's Charity Tennis Tournament was held Saturday, September 20 at the Kingsmill Tennis Center. We appreciate the support of our players and enjoyed a morning of exciting, competitive play on the courts!
Our Fast4 tournament format with morning play has been a big success. Play starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends around noon, followed by finals matches, lunch, a reception, awards ceremony, door prizes, and the presentation of our donation check to Hospice House.
Players support Men's Charity Tennis with their entry fees and donations. See the Entry Form section of this website. Attendance at the tennis tournament is free for sponsors and spectators. Everyone is always welcome to the tournament and reception. Come out and view the action in 2026!
We are pleased that our annual donation to Hospice House and Support Care of Williamsburg has grown from $4,000 in 1999 to $21,000 in 2025, for a cumulative contribution of $1,076,000 to Hospice House over the 26 years of our tournament (our 2020 tournament wasn't held due to COVID).
All of the Hospice House services come at no cost to patients’ families. MCT has worked hard to grow along with the community’s needs and, because Hospice House must raise its entire budget each year, MCT plays a major role in the services they are able to provide.
We are grateful for the support of our sponsors, donors, tennis players and volunteers. Thanks to their generosity and effort, we have reached a major milestone of total donations to Hospice House exceeding $1 million!
We are grateful to Ace Peninsula Hardware for being the name sponsors of our 2025 tennis tournament at Kingsmill Tennis Center. This photo shows Ace Peninsula Hardware's Terry Deaver joining Steve Killiany, Ed Coombs, Tricia Kiley Killiany, MCT President Leigh Highland and MCT board member Bill Berno to present a $21,000 check to Brandon Randall, Executive Director of Hospice House of Williamsburg (third from right) at the conclusion of our tournament.
